Prof. Najma Patel is a remarkable cardiologist who specializes in the field of Paediatric Cardiology. After completing her MBBS, she received her fellowship (FCPS) from CPSP. She is also fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), which is a mark of her excellence among interventional cardiologists and also fellow of American College of Cardiology. Her exceptional journey with NICVD dates back to 1994 when she joined this institution as a fellow and is now serving as Head of Paediatric Cardiology. She also has specialized in adult congenital heart diseases, congenital and structural heart defects intervention. She has performed more than 1200 percutaneous interventions including complex procedures. She is currently serving as Convenor of the committee member of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (Equivalent to Dean of Faculty) and also as a supervisor of FCPS Paediatric Cardiology.
