Barrister Shahida Jamil has the honour of being the first woman in Pakistan to be appointed as provincial law minister and then federal minister of law, justice and human rights and parliamentary affairs. She was the first woman hockey organiser and was President Pakistan Hockey Federation (Women's Wing).
