Waqar Hasan
Mr. Waqar Hasan, started his career in the early 60’s
by joining the Arag group of companies as General Manager. He established
National Foods in 1970 in partnership with Mr. Abdul Majeed. As a
Managing Director, he laid very strong business fundamentals and ethics in the
organization. He was also very successful in building the National brand, which
has now become an internationally recognized and a common household brand in
Pakistan. Being a sportsman, his leadership skills have always been nurtured to
promote leadership and group working which was a clear reflection of one of his
attributes in business management amongst others. He stepped down from the
position of a Managing Director in the year 2000 and since then is active as
the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a very active Board member of National
Foods Limited.
