Sophia Jamal, anchor at CNBC Pakistan started her
journalistic career from a Singapore based English magazine. When she came back
to Pakistan she joined a local renowned magazine and later shifted to Jang
group of newspapers as an assistant editor.
Soon upon realizing the new and quicker pace of
Pakistani electronic media ,She went ahead to check the waters of renowned
local English channel, there she learned how electronic media works by
initially writing for them and eventually landed as a current affair Anchor…But
her strongest tag line has always been the down trodden and the needy, which is
the real essence of being a journalist.
