Mr. Abdul Hameed
Baig has an experience of
about 40 years in cement industry. He is a bachelor of Engineering in
Mechanical field and has attended various training courses at abroad organized
by United Nation Industrial Organization besides advance Management and Chief
Executive Courses / Seminars from renowned Institutes of Pakistan.
He started his professional carrier from Wah Cement Works, a
unit of Associated Cement Companies in 1965 and served this organization in
various capacities at Wah Cement and Rohri Cement Factories till the merger of
the same with State Cement Corporation of Pakistan (Private) Limited in 1973.
He also served in various cement units of State Cement Corporation of Pakistan
(Private) Limited upto the level of Managing Director about 10 years. Later on
in 2003 after the Privatization of Associated Cement, Rohri (Private) Limited
he joined M/s. Ashraf D. Baluch Group of Industries as a Managing Director at
Rohri Cement (Private) Ltd., Rohri. He also served other units of this Group
and presently he is looking after the affairs of Zeal Pak Cement Factory Ltd.,
Hyderabad as a Managing Director. He was also nominated as a member of Board of
Director of various cement units during his service tenure with M/s. State
Cement Corporation of Pakistan (Private) Limited and M/s. Ashraf D. Baluch
Group of Industries.
