Salma Agha

Salma Agha was born in April 3, 1962 at Karachi, Pakistan. She was born to a rich father in Karachi and shifted to London at the age of 9. She is a famous singer and fine actress from Pakistan who sang and acted in Indian films in the 1980s and the early 1990s. She also won the Filmfare Best Female Playback singer Award in 1982 for the famous ghazal “Dil ke Armaan” in film Nikaah. 
Salma Agha was a grand daughter of renowned Punjabi actress Anwari Begum. Well-known musician Rafiq Ghaznavi was her grand father and her mother Nasreen worked with K. L. Saigal in Shahjahan (1946) and Aik roz (1947). Salma Agha was married at 16 years of age to a famous Pakistani settled in London. A break up soon followed. Subsequently she was married to renowned actor, director, producer Javed Sheikh. After her second divorce, she carried on with a few more Pakistani movies then married with the Pakistani squash coach Rehmat Khan.
