Lt.Gen (R) Moinuddin Haider HI(M)

General Moinuddin Haider has an outstanding record of service to the nation as a soldier and administrator. General Haider retired from the army in 1997 after completing thirty five years of service. From 1997 to 1999, he served as Governor of Sindh. Subsequently, he served as Federal Minister of Interior and Narcotics from 1999 to 2002.

During his military career, he occupied positions of key responsibility. From 1996 to 1997, he was Corps Commander and from 1991 to 1993, he served as Deputy Chief of General Staff. He was also Director, Military Training Pakistan Army from 1986 to 1989. General Haider has made important contributions towards various causes related to education, health and social welfare. Currently, he is Chairman of the Fatimid Foundation, A Q Khan Institute of High Tecnology, Baqai Cadet College and a former Chairman of Red Crescent, Sindh.

He is also a serving member, Governing Body of Liaquat National Hospital. General Haider has also been Chairman of Askari Commercial Bank Limited.
